About me

Claudio Desalvo is a world-class combat athlete and a Nidan (2nd Dan) black belt
certified by the JKS (Japan Karate Shoto Federation). An active member of JKS USA,
Claudio combines ongoing competitive activity with an outstanding career as a
Sensei.
On a personal level, he achieved global excellence with a 5th place at the JKS World
Cup 2024 in Tokyo and dominates the local circuit as a Senior Gold medalist.
Leader of Champions: For more than two years, Claudio has run his own dojo in
Central Florida, where he has developed a strong pipeline of successful athletes.
Under his technical leadership and “High Performance” mindset, his students won
multiple Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals during the 2025 season at the most
competitive tournaments in the circuit:

His approach blends the tradition of Japanese Budo with modern sports strategy,
producing students known for refined technique and mental toughness.
